CHINTAAKU PODI CHINNA CHEPALA PULUSU

though it seems new to many people, this is an traditional and authentic Andhra fish curry, small fish cooked with dried tamarind leaves powder and tastes absolutely delicious with steamed rice....this is also my family’s favourite curry ????

Small fish : 1 kg
Tamarind : 75 To 100 grams
Tomatoes medium : 4 to 5
Medium onions : 3
Turmeric powder : 1 tea spoon
Coriander powder : 2 tea spoons
Chilli powder : 3 tea spoons
Salt to taste
Roasted cumin seeds/jeera /jeelakara : 1 tsp
Roasted fenugreek seeds/methi/mentulu : 1 tsp
Curry leaves : 4 strings
Coriander leaves : 1/4 cup
Green chillies : 4
Oil : 75ml
Ghee : 1 table spoon
