Instructions: Cut your apple into slices approximately 1-1.5 cm thick. Remove the core of the apple. Place onto baking parchment. Drizzle over your caramel sauce and freeze for at least 30 minutes. Mix up a packet of pancake mix. Dip your apple rings into the pancake mix and fry in the oil at 180 °C or 350F until golden, flip as you fry to get an even colour.
Ingredients: For the pie: 200 g (7 oz) butter, softened; 100 g (3.5 oz) white sugar; 100 g (3.5 oz) brown sugar; 3 eggs; 300 g (10 oz) flour; 1 tsp baking powder; 3 bananas, pureed; 100 g (3.5 oz) dark chocolate.
For the caramel: 2 tbsp butter; 3 tbsp brown sugar; 3 tbsp honey. For the décor: 3-4 bananas, sliced in half. Instructions Preheat your oven to 180C/350F. Cover 20cm/8 inch baking pan with parchment. Make a caramel by whisking butter, sugar and honey over medium heat. Bring to a boil and cook for 1 minute more. For the cake beat butter and sugar until pale. Add eggs, one by one, while still beating the mixture. Add banana puree and stir to combine. Separately whisk flour and baking powder together. Add dry mixture into the egg-butter mixture and stir until smooth. Sprinkle chopped dark chocolate and combine everything with a spatula. Ingredients: For the dough: 350 g (12.3 oz) flour; 2 tbsp butter; 1 egg; a pinch of salt; 150 ml (5.7 fl.oz) warm milk; 4 tbsp sugar; 1 package dry yeast.
For the filling: 4 tbsp butter, melted; 75 g (3.8 oz) cream cheese; 110 g (3.8 oz) brown sugar; ½ tsp cinnamon; 100 g (3.5 oz) chopped almonds: 100 g (3.5 oz) chopped apples. For the caramel: 50 g (2 oz) butter; 50 g (2 oz) brown sugar; 2 tbsp cream.
Instructions Preheat your oven to 170C/340F. Mix milk, sugar and yeast together. Separately combine flour with a pinch of salt, and butter, egg and yeast mixture. Knead the dough until smooth, cover and set aside for 1 hour (or until doubled in size). For the filling mix cream cheese, sugar, cinnamon and butter together until smooth. Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Cover half of it with cream cheese mixture, sprinkle almonds and apples on top. Cover filling with another half of the dough and cut into about 2 cm/1 inch strips. Twist each strip as shown on the video. Place strips into a large tart pan forming a spiral. Bake for 25 minutes. Meanwhile make a caramel by whisking butter and sugar together over medium heat until crystals dissolves. Add cream, bring to a boil and pour over the hot apple pie.
