Ingredients :Maida/all purpose flour : 500 grams
Ghee : 1/2 cup/120 grams
Baking powder : 1 and 1/2 tea spoons
Water as needed
For sugar syrup :
Sugar : 750 grams
Water : 350ml
Crushed cardamoms : 2
Tips to make perfect badusha :
Sugar syrup should not be too thick and no need of one string consistency.... if sugar syrup is thick badusha may not soak properly and gets dry from inside
Follow the measurements correctly, otherwise badusha may break while frying or may turn hard
Don’t knead dough too much just bring everything together and form a tight dough
Very important thing is frying badushas... always fry them on low to medium flame until they turns into golden colour...otherwise they may not cook from inside... to fry another batch of badusha switchoff the flame and let the oil cool for 5 minutes and then add Badusha
Soak badusha in sugar syrup for 5 to 7 minutes
