Ingredients for cake
All purpose flour/maida : 1 and 1/2 cups/165 grams
Cocoa powder : 1/4 cup
Unsalted butter : 125 grams (room temperature)
Eggs : 4 (room temperature)
Vanilla essence : 1 tea spoon
Hazelnuts : 1/2 cup
Sugar : 1 cup/200 grams (blend into powder)
Melted dark chocolate : 100 grams
For chocolate frosting
Dark chocolate : 200 grams
Fresh cream:heavy cream : 250ml
Nutella : 150 grams
Chopped roasted hazelnuts : 1/2 cup
Ferraro rocher chocolates
For thin chocolate ganache
Dark chocolate : 100 grams
Fresh cream/heavy cream : 100 ml
Baking temperature : 180 degrees Celsius
Cake tin size : 8 inch
Baking time : 45 to 50 minutes
After 45 minutes of baking insert a skewer or knife, if it’s not baked... bake for some more time until skewer comes out clean.
